The CultureLab offers two travel grants (500 € each) restricted to students. The main purpose of these grants is to enable students interested in pursuing a PhD on a topic related to computational cultural studies to familiarise themselves with the CultureLab's activities and members.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be students registered towards a Master, preference will be given to students whose paper or poster has been accepted at the Computational Cultural Science Workshop.

Grants' requirements
1. Grantees must attend the whole workshop.
2. Grantees will be required to write a short essay (eventually with pictures) which will describe what they have experienced and learned during the workshop.
Important information
- All expenses will be reimbursed by bank transfer after the conference.
- The total amount of the reimbursement will not exceed 500 €.
- Only standard tickets will be reimbursed, i.e., 2nd class for train travels and economy tickets for flights.
- The reimbursement will only cover dinner meals (maximum 20 € per meal).
- For hotel lodging in the Paris region, the reimbursement will not exceed 150 € per night.
- All original receipts (transportation tickets, meal receipts) will need to be kept for reimbursement.

Send your application by e-mail to c2s@sciencesconf.org as a single PDF file entitled "TGA_Surname_Firstname" which must include the following:
- A personal statement describing your research interests and how you wish to benefit from attending the C²S Workshop (half a page maximum)
- An itemised budget of anticipated expenses (hotel/lodging costs, transportation expenses, estimated food/meal costs)
- A CV (2 pages maximum)
- A proof of registration as a student (student ID or enrolment certificate).
